CVAS Co-Pay Reimbursement Policy Change
Due to a significant reduction in budgetary funding from the Town of Chili, the Chili Volunteer Ambulance Service will no longer be able to reimburse ambulance billing co-pays and deductibles to town residents. Rejected claims and residents without health care insurance will be dealt with on a case by case basis. This change in policy will begin January 1st, 2011. All residents transported prior to December 31st, 2010 will continue to have their co-pays reimbursed. Residents having questions regarding this policy change are encouraged to contact the CVAS Offices at 889-8614. We are glad to discuss our position and help you direct your concerns appropriately. The CVAS apologizes in advance for any hardship this may cause the residents of Chili.
